JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for coordinating customer requests with obtaining material, parts and equipment in order to generate customer quotations.  The position has quoting responsibilities which include consulting with other departments including Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning and Quality.  Must submit accurate quotations to customers on time and provide the necessary information on any inquiry from an internal or external customer efficiently and accurately.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Create a comprehensive quote per the customers drawing and or BOM in the timelines given following quoting guidelines and policies.

Provide pricing for customer projects that include current costs and availability of raw materials, parts, assemblies, subassemblies, finish goods, equipment and services.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and computer skills. (JobBoss, MQ1)
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 3 years experience required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
(Short periodic breaks are encouraged.)
Must be able to lift 15 lbs. at times.
Must be able to work in close environment with people from other departments.
